Wear those funky green glasses.
When laser engraving Maya Soele® figures, you need to wear some pretty cool green glasses to protect your eyes.
I almost feel like some kind of lab professor when I'm monitoring the process with those glasses on. But they work.
And so does the engraving. It has really been a pain in the ass for me, because customers asked to be able to engrave a personal greeting on the figure. For example, the day the apprentice was trained to be remembered forever. It also made a lot of sense, and I would love to be able to give my customers what they asked for.
But what, how and what does it cost...?
Finally I managed to find an engraving machine that could be operated by a non-IT-savvy person like me (my son-in-law William has it completely under control and still helps me every time)
So don't worry, engraving is now possible.
3 font options have been selected, now the next problem is just to figure out how it will be integrated into the shop, so that the customer can choose the font, see how it looks on the figure and approve the result, and finally put the order in the cart.
WILLIAAAAAAM, come and help mom here so we can get it fixed.
I'll keep you updated on the shop when it's ready soon.
